Many folks I speak with have scarcely heard of the concept of "paying yourself first" (PYF). It was popularized by George Samuel Clayson nearly a century ago in his classic financial guide, The Richest Man in Babylon. In the many years since, if they have heard the phrase, few know what it truly means, and even fewer know how to implement it and where the optimal place to put it is.

In general, the concept of PYF is that if you always put some of your "work production" (capital) aside. In other words, save some of it first, before you start paying others for services and material things, then you will always have the capital (cash) to take advantage of opportunities or address necessary purchases when they come along. This book will explain the best place to store and compound the growth of this capital and leverage (spend) it without interrupting that growth.

Debt can be a valuable financial tool when properly arbitraged or leveraged to a greater return than the cost of it. Typically, one needs an asset to put up as collateral, so they can use Other People's Money (OPM), like those of banks, etc.

Furthermore, in the infamous words of R. Nelson Nash, the very first principle to understand is, "we finance everything we purchase." Even when someone believes they are avoiding debt and the subsequent interest costs when paying cash for everything, they have actually, and effectively, self-financed those purchases. Said another way, you have given up that "cash", and it will never go to work (or earn a rate of return) for you ever again.

Riddle: Would it be better to pay cash for a $50,000 truck, if you have $50,000 or more in your savings account paying you a 4% annual rate of return or take a 5-year loan at a 5% interest rate from your banker? After you finish reading this book, I am confident you will know why the latter is the correct answer.

The fastest way to learn how to grow wealth is to, one, learn to continually build your own well (or pool) of unimpeded capital growth by PYF. Two, when major purchases arise in your life, use "your pool" as collateral to borrow and payback. Learning the D2C financial strategy will be the most powerful wealth building strategy whether you have debt or not, because it teaches you the power of the PYF strategy. It puts you in the driver's seat along the road of abundance.

So, what is the solution to all of this? If I utilize the concept of PYF, where should I store this cash? The banks pay a small pittance for me to store it with them. If I store it in a bank CD or put into the financial markets, its use is locked up in money jail or potentially at risk.

When folks find themselves with more debt and/or longer horizons of extinguishing all their debts than they are comfortable or happy with, the Debt2Capital® (D2C) strategy and associated advisor and financial tools assist with expediting the elimination of these debts and simultaneously building a capital pool, so the liabilities and debt cycle do not keep starting over.

This all happens because someone introduced you to the concept of PYF and the location of where to actually put this capital, so its growth compounds without interruption and provides you with liquid cash when you so desire.

If you learn to manage your liabilities in this fashion, you will take back control of the banking function in your personal and business life and also have the possibility to create a tax-free income in your retirement.

Debt can feel heavy for many, though with the D2C strategy and the simple guidance to implement it, optimism abounds.

What This Method Actually Does

Every situation is different - your numbers will be yours. But here's what the Debt2Capital® system is built to accomplish:

Pay Off Faster

Most people using this system get out of debt years ahead of the bank's schedule, without spending more than they already do each month.

Keep The Capital

When you're done, you don't end at zero. You've been building a capital reserve the whole time - money you own, that you can use for the next big purchase without taking another loan.

Flip the Equation

Right now compound interest works against you. The D2C method puts it to work for you instead. That's the whole idea.
